of German Unity 2018
Pianist Yuliya Drogalova, in demand in political circles, gave a concert as a stylish musical accompaniment to the presidential dinner on the occasion of the Day of German Unity Day on 3 October.
The Prime Ministers of the Federal States, the Federal Ministers, the Federal President and the Federal Chancellor took part in this event.

Piano Concerto
to the commemoration of Egon Bahr
The pianist Yuliya Drogalova played in honor of Egon Bahr (Rede des Regierenden Bürgermeisters), who passed away in 2015. Music by Edvard Grieg (1843-1907), a prelude from the suite "Aus Holbergs Zeit" in G major, Op. 40, and Dmitri Shostakovich (1906-1975) Prelude No. 22 were heard at St. Mary's Church in Berlin in G minor, op. 87. While the numerous and well-known companions of Egon Bahr heard this music, the thoughts once more went back to all the encounters with this wonderful man.

Egon Bahr loved the music and wanted to become a pianist. These pieces by Edvard Grieg were very important to him.
Moses Mendelssohn Award Ceremony
This prize was awarded on 6 September 2016 to Jérôme Boateng and to Prof. von der Osten-Sacken by the Governing Mayor of Berlin, Michael Müller.
The pianist Yuliya Drogalova provided the musical accompaniment for the event with 400 guests in the Great Hall of the Berlin City Hall.
She played an overture from the "Midsummer Night's Dream" by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. The present Mendelsohn great-great-granddaughter was very touched and personally thanked Yuliya Drogalova.

Heinrich-Albertz Peace Prize
When Egon Bahr was awarded the Heinrich Albertz Peace Prize, he was allowed to wish music for the award ceremony. Even a passionate pianist, he wanted Edvard Grieg's suite "Aus Holberg's Zeit". On that day, the pianist Yuliya Drogalova played for him. Through this music and an inspiring conversation, both discovered a personal connection.
